On July 18 the LongHouse Reserve — the not-for-profit arboretum, art museum, sculpture garden, and educational organization founded by legendary textile designer Jack Lenor Larsen — hosted its 2015 Summer Benefit, ON GOSSAMER WINGS. The gala, which took place on LongHouse Reserve’s beautiful 16-acre East Hampton grounds, celebrated the foundation’s 24th season and honored internationally acclaimed artist and sculptor Kiki Smith with the LongHouse Award. The glamorous garden affair raised $500,000 for the organization.
