FashBash: Shop At Sunset

On Friday from 3 to 6 PM throughout the Village of East Hampton, over 30 stores will participate in the 5th Annual Shop at Sunset, spearheaded by retail owner and Retreat Board President Gail Rothwell and Hamptons Magazine editor Debra Halpert. Inspired by Vogue's Fashion's Night Out, Shop at Sunset will include refreshments for shoppers, special offers, designer trunk shows, and fashion giveaways. Participating stores include Gail Rothwell, J. Crew, White's Apothecary, and Calypso. This year's Shop at Sunset event raises funds to support The Retreat's dating violence prevention initiatives. According to the Centers for Disease Control, one in three adolescent girls will be a victim of physical, emotional, or verbal abuse from a dating partner; fewer than one-third of teens in abusive relationships tell their parents.
