A reception for Mica Marder will be held Saturday, from 4 to 8 PM with music by the Peter Watrous Trio from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Silas Marder Gallery in Bridgehampton. The show runs through October 17.
Mica Marder is known for the remarkable ability to render the essentials of his subjects with an honest, intuitive hand. His drawings, paintings and sculpture are a truly visceral experience, offering an alternative to the cool remoteness of much of today’s contemporary art.
