SweetCharity: Massage Envy's HEALING HANDS FOR ARTHRITIS

On Wednesday, September 16, every 1-hour massage or facial session at one of Massage Envy’s more than 1000 locations across the country will donate $10 to the Arthritis Foundation to support research, education, treatment and more. Ten percent of Massage Envy retail sales from Murad, Performance Health (Biofreeze and Bon Vital) and Wyndmere purchases will also be donated that day.
Massage Envy has a national partnership with the Arthritis Foundation and created Healing Hands for Arthritis in 2011. The event is an annual, national one-day fundraising event that benefits the Arthritis Foundation’s mission to prevent, control and cure arthritis. Massage Envy has raised more than $3 million for the cause through the event.
Arthritis strikes more than 53 million Americans (one in five people) and is the nation’s leading cause of disability. According to the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, part of the National Institutes of Health, massage is one of the most popular complementary therapies.
