The Sixth Annual "Art Groove" will be held at Ashawagh Hall on Saturday and Sunday. The show features the artwork of 14 contemporary artists. An opening reception is on Saturday from 6 to 11 PM beginning with a special musical performance by The King Bees featuring Frank Latorre, followed by a dance party featuring DJ G-Funk's hot mix. "Art Groove" combines musical, performance and visual art creating a unique, modern social experience. Each year, Art Groove, attracts nearly 300 attendees. The projection mapped motion graphics video Reboot will be projected on the outside of Ashawagh Hall. On Sunday at 3 PM there is a screening of Making The Guitar Maker, a documentary by John Jinks. Artists include Laura Benjamin, Barbara Bilotta, Rosalind Brenner, Michael Cardacino, Nadine Daskaloff, Anahi DeCanio, Ellen Dooley, Ginger Hendler, Frank Latorre, Geralyne Lewandowski, Tom Steele, Ursula Thomas, Charles Waller, and Mark Zimmerman.
