Navy Beach in Montauk is honoring Montauk's Naval History and continuing its partnership with the Navy SEAL Foundation to help raise awareness and funds with the fourth annual fundraiser for the organization. The Navy SEAL Foundation provides immediate and ongoing support and assistance to the Naval Special Warefare community, their families, and the families of the fallen, wounded and also transitioning NSW veterans. On Saturday, June 18, from 3:30 to 5:30 PM Navy Beach will host a cocktail party to benefit the foundation. This year's event will include featured guest Long Island native RDML (SEAL) Thomas R. Richards, USN ret., former Commander of Naval Special Warfare Command, a highly decorated veteran, as well as Navy SEAL Foundation representatives, and local veterans and supporters. The event will feature wine, beer and bites. In addition, guests will be able to bid on silent auction items and purchase raffle tickets for several prizes. The cost to attend the event is $40 per adult, $20 for veterans and free for children under 16. RSVP for the cocktail party to nsf@navybeach.com.
