Perform At FOLD Festival

East End Arts in Riverhead has joined forces with FOLD (Freak Out Let's Dance) Festival to present the Emerging Artists Project. This call for musicians gives local artists a chance to apply to perform on stage at the FOLD Festival in August. Performers at the three day festival, set for August 12 to 14 at Martha Clara Vineyards in Riverhead, include Chic featuring festival founder Nile Rodgers, Kesha, Bette Midler, Earth, Wind & Fire, DNCE Featuring Joe Jonas, KC & The Sunshine Band, The Village People, Doug E. Fresh, DJ Cassidy and many more. Bands and solo musicians are invited to submit a three to five minute video of a performance for consideration. Each day of the festival the solo artist and a band that is picked will perform two songs on stage. Artists must have all of their own equipment. A committee of music pros will screen the submissions. Multi Grammy Award-winning composer, producer and guitarist Nile Rodgers will select the final performers.
