Andrew Masullo's "5544"
The Fireplace Project, a contemporary art gallery and project space in East Hampton, presents the opening of the first exhibition for the 2016 season. "9999," is a salon style group exhibition curated by Edsel Williams. All artworks are under $10,000. It will be wall to wall art, medium to smaller artworks by more than 20 artists. Artists included in the show are Trudy Benson, Ross Bleckner, Isaac Brest, Andy Coolquit, Peter Dayton, Eric Freeman, Edward Granger, Jack Greer, Jeanette Hayes, Katherine Hubbard, Erika Keck, Jan Krajewski, Natalya Laskis, Hanna Liden, Sam McKinniss, Andrew Masullo, Josephine Meckseper, Maynard Monrow, Colin Oulighan, David Ryan, Michael Scalisi, Bruce Sherman, Lucien Smith, Nick Theobald, Russell Tyler, Dustin Yellin, and more. An opening reception will be held on Saturday from 6 to 8 PM. The show runs through July 5.
