New York Pilates

New York Pilates is the only oceanfront reformer Pilates studio in The Hamptons, located at the Residences at Gurney’s Montauk. They have two studios in Manhattan (SoHo and Washington Square Park) and owner Heather Andersen (former ballerina and modern dancer) has been a go-to instructor in New York City for the past decade.

Modern, raw interiors, lush succulents, great tunes, and attentive instructors are what set NYP apart from the crowd. They can accommodate up to eight people per class and there are 3 to 4 classes during the week and 5 to 7 on the weekends.

Private sessions are available and drop-ins are accepted, but reservations are suggested. New York Pilates has been featured in Vogue, Self, and Shape magazines and Fashionista named them one of the top five most stylish studios in NYC. Their celebrity clients range from young stars to Olympians and Oscar winners but they are discreet regarding their clientele.

Native New Yorker Brion Isaacs, Creative Director and owner of Rivington Design House, is a former musician/resident DJ at the Beatrice Inn, so he knows his stuff when it comes to putting the playlists together for the studio. He and wife Heather, along with their adorable dog, Hazelnut, are the most down to earth people I have met in a very long time.

Make sure to book online to register for a free class at www.newyorkpilates.com by using the code “fame.” Offer expires July 16, 2016.
